The commonest reason for reconstruction is after treatment of breast cancer by mastectomy.

I have been running a series on breast reconstruction.

A lot of women don't know that when a breast is removed for cancer treatment, it can be reconstructed.

Some run away from mastectomy because of fear of what would replace the lost breast.

Mastectomy takes a heavy toll on a woman's self confidence.
But it is a necessary life saving surgery.

That is why we give hope to women,your breast can be reconstructed. Just don't delay your cancer treatment.
