Before picking your own battle rope, you need ro consider this important thing:
The thickness, length and weight of ropes. Longer ropes are more fluid, but result in heavier movements. We recommend a Battle Rope 9m 38mm for beginners. Anybody who's up for a challenge should choose a thicker and longer rope.
