We had a delayed flight that lasted over two hours past midnight, but I didn't let it ruin my mood. Even though my 5-year-old was throwing a tantrum from exhaustion, any parent knows how that goes. Meanwhile, my fellow passengers were cursing and getting increasingly frustrated by the late hour and the airline's inadequate compensation.
In that moment, I realized that everything was still working out for me. I reminisced about the incredible time my family and I had in Crete, where we met beautiful friends and experienced breathtaking sunsets, beaches, and views. It made me happy and proud that we were able to create such beautiful memories together.
This experience reminded me that I am the creator of my own life's experiences, just like you are. Part of living my dream life is being able to travel the world with my family.

One of the most debilitating emotions we experience often is self doubt. When this occurs we struggle with thoughts like we aren’t good enough, strong enough, smart enough and attractive enough.
Glenn Beck says it brilliantly, “sometimes the hardest part of the journey is believing you’re worth the trip.”
Our past experiences play into our lack of confidence which breeds into struggling with making decisions, assertiveness and taking risks.
In business self doubt can result in…

How do you bounce back from sadness, frustration, anger or overwhelm?
There is so much that needs to get done that we often forget that we are human "BEings" who experience a lot of challenges and emotions along the way.
When we push those emotions down and don't address them, unfortunately, they can show up as (head)aches and pains in our body and over time turn into dis-ease.
Many of us didn't grow up learning how to deal with our emotions. The good news is there is a stronger emphasis now more than ever, but unless we are able to master it ourselves, it's hard to teach others.
That's why I absolutely LOVE these quick tips to follow when we experience different emotions. While each of these help shift our state, there is an important step to take before action.
That is to recognize what we are experiencing, acknowledge it and get curious about it. Even if you are unsure of your feelings but you know something is off, before taking action to move through it, I invite you first to name what it is that you are feeling. Is it overwhelm/overthinking? Anxiety? Sadness or burnout?
Acknowledge what you are experiencing and explore what the gift is or what it's trying to tell you. There is always a gift in our emotions if we are willing to stop and explore.
Then the tips below help shift our state which helps improve our mental and emotional well-being. When we bypass our emotions right away and move immediately into action, it's likely they will come back in a different form.
Name it, acknowledge it, get curious and take action.
That is what I call "mastering emotional intelligence."

Our character is built from your habits. Imagine spending 1% a day committing to growth, improvement and learning? How Does Continuous Improvement Work?
So often we convince ourselves that change is only meaningful if there is some large, visible outcome associated with it. Whether it is losing weight, building a business, traveling the world or any other goal, we often put pressure on ourselves to make some earth-shattering improvement that everyone will talk about.
Meanwhile, improving by just 1 percent isn’t notable (and sometimes it isn’t even noticeable). But it can be just as meaningful, especially in the long run.
Here’s the punchline:
If you get one percent better each day for one year, you’ll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you’re done.
This is why small choices don’t make much of a difference at the time, but add up over the long-term.

Our future is not guaranteed. This uncertainty can create an immense amount of stress and anxiety for us. But we have a choice in this future of ours.
I heard the the below quote watching a YouTube video on gratitude.

Dr Joe Dispenza goes on to say... what thoughts do you want to fire and wire in your brain?
Fear can often hold us back and prevent us from achieving our goals and creating the future we want. However, it's important to recognize that fear is just a feeling and we have the power to overcome it. By facing our fears and taking action, we can build confidence and develop a more positive and empowering mindset, helping us to create the future we desire.
Mindset strategies to create a better future:
- Let Go of Fear: Don't let fear hold you back, let it go and focus on your goals.
- Let Go of the Past: The past is your experience, not your future.
- Let Go of Scarcity Mindset: Abundance thoughts are needed.
- Dream Big: Put no limits on your thoughts.
- Get A Mentor: Experience will guide you.
- Embrace Change: Being open-mined will help.
- Take Action: You must act on these new thoughts.
It’s Up To Us:
We can’t wait for the time to be right. We can’t wait for our wealth to feel abundance. We can’t wait for our success to feel empowered. We have to create it.
Let's make the most of this moment and start creating the future we want. It doesn't matter if we're not where we want to be yet, as long as we're moving in the right direction and taking small steps towards our goals every day. It's all about having the right attitude and being patient.

Why is it taking me so long to get what I want?
It's not because you do not want it enough.
It's not because you are not intelligent enough.
It's not because you are not worthy enough.
It's not because fate is against you.
It's not because someone else has already won your prize.
The reason why most people do not already have their desire, is because they are holding themselves in a vibrational holding pattern that does not match the vibration or frequency of their desire.
In essence what slows down the desire to take form is not clearing and releasing all the resistance that is no longer serving them.
Surrender and allow your infinite self to express and expand.
