Ondertussen oefenen wij hard voor de kijkles en dat nemen we heel serieus zoals je ziet. 😊 Volgende week mogen alle ouders komen kijken, dinsdag 23 tot en met maandag 29 augustus, hopelijk al in je agenda!

Meet Lauren ✨ — a dance teacher with a lifelong passion for movement and a strong background in Dance Education from Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts in Tilburg

She trained across hip-hop/street dance, modern dance, and classical ballet, shaping a versatile and expressive approach to movement 🩰🔥

During her studies, she completed an internship in Tanzania, where she taught children’s dance classes—an experience that deepened her belief in dance as a powerful tool for connection, culture, and self-expression 🌍

Today, Lauren creates a warm and supportive space where children and young people can explore movement, build confidence, and express themselves freely

For Lauren, teaching is all about joy, presence, and helping each child grow at their own pace through dance ✨

Ooit gedacht, wat doen zij nou met al die props die daar klaarliggen? 🌈 Hierbij dan een inkijkje, deze hoepels zijn tijdens de Lente les de vogelnestjes. De peuters vliegen eromheen, en als de muziek stopt, moeten ze snel op een nestje gaan zitten. Stomme stopdans? 🚫Nee hoor, want ze willen graag allemaal op hun ‘eigen’ kleur zitten, maarja, als die bezet is moeten ze daarmee leren omgaan en snel een ander kiezen. Of, een andere vogel is zo lief om z’n nestje af te staan omdat ‘ie ziet dat iemand er verdrietig om is. Want zo werkt de wereld; snel zijn, kiezen, delen, lief zijn. We doen het allemaal. Chloë knew she wanted to be a dance teacher since she was 4 — and that dream never changed.

With a background in Dance Education and Pedagogy, she creates classes where dance is a space for self-discovery, safety, and freedom.

Her favorite moments? Seeing a child go from nervous on day one to happy, proud, and confident just weeks later. 🤍

At Damoves, she teaches preschool dance and modern/jazz, where your little ones grow not only as dancers, but as confident, joyful humans. ✨
