About Kyas Tango Salon

KYAS TANGO SALON Amsterdam offers Argentine Tango lessons and a monthly dance salon.

Monthly Kyas Tango Salon

Once a month we organize Kyas Tango Salon. We invite great musicians to play live music for us and also occasionally we have an dance performance by a famous dance couple. You are welcome to join us and bring your friends. It is open for dancers and non-dancers.

Our tango lessons

We believe that everybody can dance Argentine tango. And we like to teach you how. You need no experience to join us, and can come with or without a partner. We work in small groups of maximum of 8 couples so that we can give you enough attention during the class. The lessons focus on posture, the basic steps, musicality and we also talk about the tango etiquette and theory.

The Location

KYAS ART SALON, located in the center of Amsterdam, is the main location of the lessons and activities.

Great Wooden Floor: We have solid oak wood floor, so it is perfect for dancing, with lots of light from windows and white walls.

Lounge Area: After the lessons you can enjoy chatting with your friends with a glass of wine at the bar area in the salon.

Art Exhibitions: At the same time, you can enjoy art exhibition in the salon, which is changed every 6 - 8 weeks.
