Subtle but visible ripped skirt repair, with no sewing! Step one: cut a piece of fusible interfacing and new fabric. Step two: iron it on! That's it! Lucinda chose to have this as a secret patch on the inside of the skirt and to leave the L-shaped rip slightly visible on the outside, but it would have worked the other way around too.
What are other repair techniques that don't need sewing?

Seriously, what is a more loved piece of clothing than comfy lounge pants? One of our fixed up hers with a good old reinforcement patch and some extra-reinforcing stitching on top of it. Long live loungewear!

Darning — not just for socks!! We had a few darners fix up holes in knit t-shirts at our Repair-a-thon 2, and most were very subtle. But this shirt needed mending on the shoulder and a pop of color. The imperfect and loose threads is mostly because I'm a darning beginner but now it's just part of the new vibe!

Embroidery is the prettiest and easiest way to personalize any item. Pictured is a linen bag that I sewed for my grandma, and it reads "Grandma's goodies" in Lithuanian. All the delicious fruit that my grandma dries can now live in these cute draw-string bags!
Have you ever done a project like this for someone?

The patching station at our events always proves to be popular, especially amongst us who cycle and struggle with those crotch blowouts! During our July Repair-a-thon, a record number of patches were created. Well done, !

I've definitely been inspired by people's patched up clothing, or jackets with embroidery, or self-hemmed pant legs. Also, scrolling around the hashtag on social media and following people like Erin Lewis-Fitzgerald - Modern Mending is a huge inspiration! Any other recommendations, tag them in the comments!

Wow! This is what our achieved during the Repair-a-thon #2! And iIt's not just the saved garments that were fixed but also skills that they took home and will be able to use time and time again in the future to create a more sustainable closet one slow stitch at a time. We are so so proud of all the participants!

More photos to come!
