My Demelza 101 Challenge - Sittingbourne to Amsterdam

It's been 5 years since the event, one of my last posts on here was to thank everyone for their support and to let you know that I won the social media award and a signed jersey. Today I took delivery of my custom frame from Urban Framers it is absolutely stunning that I thought I'd share with all followers on here.

So that's it we finished apparently 322 miles, I'll confirm that later Kenny if you don't mind.

Have to say one of the best things ive ever done feeling absolutely amazing right now as we prepare for the celebration meal.

Just got to the holding point before le grand finalie 85 miles today, I may have taken a detour to the other side of the river to the holding point!

The final lunch, what this guy has done with food from the back of a van is incredible! Thank you so much for all the food!

Quick coffee stop, we think it's the first place we've seen, unfortunately it's a bar, fortunately they still sell coffee!

20 miles done time for a quick fuel stop

We've already passed one fuel spillage, jelly babies and fruit pastles everywhere! Fortunately no one was hurt by the looks of it.

FINAL DAY!!! I can't believe it's almost over 80 moles today finohsing in Amsterdam Square with lots of supporters and fit me lots of family, I can't wait to see them all!

Time to prepare for the final push.

So 100 miles today 8 hours in the saddle it's fair to say I'm a little sore, none the less we made it. First ever 100 mile ride for me and many others but we did it, although part of our group tried to take the motorway detour...

Just in the bar now time for a well earned beer and dinner, tomorrow I get to complete the best challenge of my life.

Quick stop for lunch 65 miles down so should be 35 left right? Might change my wheels for something else still a bike....

OK 2 miles down the track and we've found coffee! It's like finding gold! Much better than the closed petrol station.

100 miles today 44 in our tour leader says atop for coffee every 10 miles sure we said, this is the closest we've come to coffee for 30 miles, the last place was closed....
