The ISBT Enschede 2025 Committee wishes everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

We regret to inform you that, due to a lack of registrations, this year’s ISBT Enschede will unfortunately be cancelled. While we are disappointed not to welcome you next month, we are deeply grateful for the enthusiasm and support shown by so many associations. You reminded us of the true spirit of ISBT: a sporting gathering that brings together different countries and cultures.

Your excitement has inspired us. We are too stubborn to let ISBT go, so we will keep on working on next years edition. All advance payments that have been made will be refunded as soon as possible.

We have some good news! We are extending the €10,- early bird discount until the sign-ups close, that is 23rd of November! So only 2 more weeks to go from now. We also have an update that the sleepers will surely appreciate; sleeping will be in the cabins (blokhutten) on campus, not in the sportshall, so you don't need to bring a blow-up mattress!

The current standings for the sign-ups! There is only a week left to get a €10 discount on your sign-up, so be quick! The club with the most sign-ups gets to win a special club/team trophy that you do not want to miss out on!

On another note: We currently only have 27 sign-ups for our amazing tournament, but we need at least 85 players to make this year’s tournament happen.

We honestly expected to see more by now, and it would break our hearts to have to cancel such an amazing weekend of badminton, fun, parties, and memories.

✨ Meet the committee ✨ Last but not least: Chef party & food: Kira! She is the one having all contacts with our food and party locations, making sure we have delicious food and an awesome party every night. She is also busy trying to get some sponsors so that we can make the tournament even better! (So if you want your logo on all future promotion, shoot us a message :D! )

✨ Meet the committee ✨Next in line: our Match Secretary, Wouter! During the tournament, he makes sure that all matches are planned, everybody is happy with their playing time and records all results. If you want to play against a certain opponent, you could try to bribe him, but tip: rather with ice tea than with alcohol👀.

✨ Meet the committee ✨ Definitly the most important person, our Chef Promo, Lara 👀 (it's not me... really) She makes all promotional stuff, such as posters and flyers, and manages the social media accounts. If you ever thought, wow, that's horrible graphic design, it was her.

✨ Meet the committee ✨ Here is our Treasurer, Precilla. She made the budget and is responsible for all financial matters. Before all money is spent on beer, she has to approve it first!

✨ Meet the committee ✨ Our second introducee: Thijmen, our secretary. He keeps notes during our (long) meetings, and answers all your emails with questions! So if you get a very official-sounding email… that was him.

✨ Meet the committee ✨ Now that the sign-ups are open, we are here to present ourselves! Starting with our Chairman, Scotty! As the chairman, he makes sure we keep on track, and have (semi) structured meetings. Although we shouldn't really talk about the average meeting time...
