Last week in a couple of photos.

Walks in the sun and the full moon.
I found a set of roe deer antlers.
Waiting in a bus stop to be picked up because my car was towed due to a broken clutch cable.
Hangovers from “fika”
Framed some of my own prints.
Some soft pastel drawing.
Still eating fresh chantarelles.
A tidy studio, ready for printing.

I started the Raven Call Mail Club because I really love the idea of sending and receiving actual, tangible things. Something made by hand, something to look forward to, something that isn't another notification on your phone.

And apparently, I'm not the only one. 🖤

The Mail Club is growing, and it makes me ridiculously happy that people are choosing handmade art, good old-fashioned post and supporting an independent artist in a little studio in Sweden.

So if you like lino prints, little surprises, handwritten envelopes, real letters, seasonal recipes and having an excuse to make another cup of tea, you might feel right at home here.

This lino print in a 2 color gradient is NOT FOR SALE

Sometimes it is perfectly fine to draw, carve and print for hours just to make 1 print and keep it to for yourself!

Just some random pics from the last 1,5 week.

We went to Oslo for the Høstsabbat festival and had a great time. It’s so nice to have this city not too far away.

We also had the first real frost, beautiful cold mornings.

Mimmi the kitten stayed with us a couple of days. So cute! Unfortunately we had to give her back to the neighbours.

I made a foccacia for the first time. Delicious!

I painted a ceiling bright yellow. Love the color 💛

And I made a A3 size linoprint of 2 birds. I will just keep it for myself.

Tomorrow I’ll be back to work after a break.

I am taking an autumn break.

Coming week I am going to paint a ceiling, I think.
And we're also going to Oslo for a couple of days to visit the Munch museum and go to the Høstsabbat festival.

Really looking forward to that, so I am taking a small break from work and instagram.

My webshop stays open though, you can place orders and they will be shipped when I get back. No worries!

I really enjoyed making this months Mail Club lino print. The inspiration was right on our doorstep. How can I not make a design with a porcini and an oak leaf?

I decided on 2 colors, orange and brown, because hello autumn. I luckily had just enough brown paper for this months members!

Now that my members count is still not too high I am able to experiment with multicolor prints, reduction print, puzzle print, you name it. I don't think I will be able to do that anymore when I reach 100 members, but we'll see.
