Heinz-Harald Frentzen continued to show the progress of the Arrows A23 as he set the quickest time on the third day of testing at the Silverstone circuit.

The Arrows driver took full advantage of his Cosworth-powered A23 to set the best time of the session when the circuit was at its best after some overnight rains had wetted the track.

Frentzen was more than a second faster than Japanese Takuma Sato in the only Jordan present on the day.
