Launched in early 2015, Bower Swimwear is the creation of two fashion professionals, Rupert (photographer & creative director) & Fiona Ryn (sales & PR) who combined their love of being by the water with an eye for design. Influenced by a childhood spent by the sea at Sydney’s Fairy Bower & formative years in bustling metropolises of London & New York, the label responds to a need for modern and be
autifully constructed swimwear that retains functionality and ease of wear. Each season Bower draws inspiration from strong, unique and universally admired women, creating design-led swimwear with a focus on the now with a nod to the past. The designs utilise luxury fabrics, partnering with complex construction and considered details. With components sourced from Italy & France, the final product is constructed at a family run factory in Portugal which we visit on a regular basis. Over the past few seasons we have been working towards creating a brand that is as ethical and sustainable as possible. Using a combination of fabrics made from recycled polyamide and fishing net plus ensuring our processes and production create as little waste as possible. We source all components from factories within Europe that adhere to high standards of production and ensure safe and fair working environments for their employees. Included in the collection are SensitivEcoSystem® fabrics, certifying our commitment to eco sustainability and the environment.
