Koningsdag on 27th April 2015 marked our first event when we displayed Lulu's paintings at the flea market on Frederik Hendriklaan. At noon, we moved towards Lange Voorhout for a change of scenery being next to the fun fair. We were blessed with plenty of sun throughout the day and we really enjoyed being part of the orange festivity on King's day. In ancient times, in order to make people easily remember the years, we Chinese ancestors came up with a funny but smart idea—use the animas represent years.
The Chines animal sighs are a 12-year cycle used for dating the years.

A Popular folk method which reflected the cyclical method of recording years is the Twelve Animal Signs. Every year is assigned an animal name or “sign” according to a repeating cycle: Rot, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Boar.

We are happy to see flowers growing expectations, full blooming in beautiful, sentimental moment she eventually lost, but fears more of the mature, withered, and the fate of death. However, time give us a lesson by the blooming and death through a life of one flower. Please do not forget each moment of flower’s growth, do not live a life with any realization belongs to each single day.

我们乐见花儿成长中的期待、盛放中美好、感伤她终有一刻的落败，更恐惧她成熟、衰老、死亡的宿命。然而花开、花落，是时间给我们的一课，不要忘记花儿，去描摹她生长的每一瞬，不要辜负生命，去领悟属于少女自己的每一天。
