💗 Pink Shirt Day at the Recreation Centre 💗

Today we stood together to celebrate kindness, inclusion, and making sure everyone feels welcome in our space.

At our Recreation Centre, we believe movement, wellbeing, sport, and community are for everyone no matter your fitness level, background, identity, or experience. We do not stand for bullying, judgement, or negativity. We stand for supporting each other, lifting each other up, and creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable being themselves. 🫶

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved today, wore pink, joined our Pink Zumba, and helped spread positive vibes around campus. Keep choosing kindness not just today, but every day 💖

Jayden, we are so glad you walked through our doors!

In his final year at Massey, Jayden made the decision to step outside his comfort zone and give our group fitness classes a go. It's safe to say he hasn't looked back since, falling in love with the variety, the energy, and everything this community has to offer.

For Jayden, the gym is about more than just exercise. Every session is an opportunity to build personal discipline and grow in confidence. That feeling of knowing what you're capable of! He carries it with him into every other part of his life.

And when we asked what keeps him coming back, he had us laughing "Honestly? The incredibly clean toilets!" But in all seriousness, it's the Zumba classes and our wonderful staff that truly make his visits special.

Jayden, thank you for your energy, your humour, and your commitment. You're exactly what this community is all about.
