I Rio de Janeiro er sambaskolene kjernen i et lokalsafunnet som stiller med 3000-4000 folk i karnevalsparaden på den kjente Sambodromoen.

Sunday, 12:00 to 1:00 PM · Beginner, instrument training

Seeing little ones discover samba for the first time… the joy, the energy, the rhythm is exactly why we do this.

Thank you to every family that came through, every child that danced, every tiny hand that picked up a drum. You made these two days absolutely magical.

Carnival is for everyone. And now they know it too. 💃🏽🇧🇷

Two days, two chances to try samba for the first time, for free, with no experience needed, and no pressure. Just good music, great people, and a whole lot of rhythm.

Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, want to introduce your kids to Brazilian culture, or have simply always been curious about samba this weekend is for you.

OPEN HOUSE
📅 Aug 29
2–3 pm – Family dance (ages 5–17)
3–5 pm – Adults (17+)

📅 Aug 30
12–2 pm – Open house
2–4 pm – Regular rehearsal (everyone from the open house is welcome to join!)
