Don't kick it up!
Headstands are fun but don't risk your neck for them! Build up your strength and control sensibly, one step at a time.

We have great news - first there is still half of the March PT Kampanje left and I still have a few free Prøvetimene to offer.
If you want to take your practice to the next level, it's always better to be safe and get some help :)

Also, as per request, we will have Litt Øvet classes at Fossegrenda. :)
So either way - see you there for some more advanced practice.

Wim Hof's take on Coronavirus (COVID-19) 21/03/2020

I know, it's an old story coming from me, but this is good stuff, guys.
Take it on :)

Wim Hof's take on Coronavirus (COVID-19) Everyone's been asking what do I think about the Coronavirus, and here it is. Stay safe everyone! Sending you all big hugs from a distance. All the love and ...

Trondheim is closing down, University, workplaces, mine as well: 3T.
Businesses and organizations have to step out of the line of blame, I get it. Nobody wants to spread a disease and massively frequented "circulation places" maybe do very well to close until we know more. And of course everything gets cleaned. Well done!

But us, individual people, let's keep our heads!
I am going out to dance tomorrow. It's a small party with good music and we'll have a good time, because that's what we planned to do. Let's stick to that guys!
I won't spread my fluids over other people I never met, but then I usually don't. I will shake less people's hands, I guess, being friendly in other ways.
I will be extra attentive and not even for myself, because I'm not in the risk group. It's like traffic: it's your job to make sure everyone gets through safely.
What's NOT our job is to scream each time we see a car. Let's not make the situation worse by hysteria and isolation.
The least helpful thing in an emergency is to panic, so ESPECIALLY if you believe everything that is being said: Keep attentive and calm.

Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodha: I consider it part of my job to join with the few voices that must be out there, who also believe that we need to focus on what's going on instead of shouting about what might be going on.
Stay happy, strong and healthy as Wim Hof would say, take good care of your lungs :)
Offer help to someone.
I know we keep apart in Norway, but maybe the elderly lady next door could really use help with her shopping, because she is IN the danger group.
Whatever you do - stay open, calm and friendly.

Wow, I guess this is the most "love, peace and harmony" of a message I would ever put out - but desperate times^^
I'll even hashtag this, I think.
Yepp, Social Media got me to show another symptom.
Did I catch the "hidden pandemic"?

And then no. I just ritually shook the hand of a member on their way out, looking me in the eyes and agreeing: "I refuse to be scared."
People aren't the problem, not in this one. We are the antidote.

Where do we go from here?

Anyone who gave this a shot: THANK YOU!
If you stuck it through, feel free to message me, I just might have something for you ;)
You saved one life a day, tons of water, contributed WAY less to pollution, you aided human global fairness as well (because people's food wasn't in huge quantities fed to animals for you to eat) and hopefully already feel some good health effects yourself :)

So take a moment to consider if you really have to go back.
Yes, at some time it is probably a good idea to either educate yourself a little more thoroughly about nutrition- but that goes for everybody!
Chances are, that during this "experiment" you really thought about nutrition for one of the first times and looking around, I think we have to agree that the default is not healthy.
So getting yourself checked for deficiencies is a good idea for everybody - vegans just do it more readily, because they already caught interest.

Be kind to yourself - don't beat yourself up if you slip - just stay the course. It all ties in with Yoga - You just do your practice every day and all else is coming. If you have to go a little easier one day, you go stronger again on another day, but you keep getting better, more aware, more determined and more compassionate.
Don't let perfect be the enemy of good, but neither let that attitude be an excuse for not changing anything.

It was very good, "speaking" to you in this limited format and if you need some help, you will find it :) Most people who are knowledgeable about this are really pumped to share the news. https://www.vegansamfunnet.no/tag/trondheim/
I'll be happy o help to the extent that I can if nobody else will XD

Continue having a wonderful, plant-strong 2020 and I am looking forward to seeing you in a Yoga class for most of the other aspects to a good life besides eating :)

Trondheim Vegan Fair 30/01/2020

It's always fun to see what new gadgets and products come out - even if we don't need them. I have experimented with only using the bare essentials: Fruit&veg, potatoes, legumes, oats, rice, nuts&seeds, and so on.
It works and is much tastier than it sounds :D
Using plant milks, yoghurts, ready-made replacements and off-the-shelf products can be really fun, though; just finding out what's out there is interesting as we continue the exploration :)

So see you here, maybe, I'm absolutely going :)

Trondheim Vegan Fair Trondheims egne veganske messe! Den 23. april blir det mer enn 30 salgs- og informasjonsboder, et moteshow, kinosone, foredrag, workshops og kokkekurs!

29/01/2020

I just found out about the Trondheim Folkekjokken - apparently a wonderful place, described like this:
"A 100% vegan peoples kitchen where all food is free and made by volunteers. You are welcome to help wash dishes and/or make food. Open once a week in the infocafe of Svartlamoen. Come help cook from 4pm and eat at 7pm. Everyone is welcome and lots of people from all over the world participate."

How better to get new ideas?
I'm certainly going one of the next Tuesdays :)
