Closing Ceremony | JCI U-16 Girls T1 Rugby Tournament 2026🏆

The JCI U-16 Girls T1 Rugby Tournament 2026 concluded successfully with an exciting display of talent, teamwork and sportsmanship from all 16 participating teams.

The closing ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Jiban Karki, National President of JCI Nepal 2026, with the presence of board members of the Nepal Rugby Association and Nepal School Rugby Commission, along with coaches, referees, officials, players and supporters.

Congratulations to International Joseph School for securing the Championship Trophy, defeating Odyssey International Academy 2–0 in the final! 🎉👏

🥈Congratulations to Odyssey International Academy for securing the Runner-up position.

🥉Congratulations to J.B. School for securing Third Position, winning 1–0in the third-place match.

A big congratulations to all participating teams, players, coaches, officials and supporters for making this tournament a memorable celebration of Girls’ Rugby and youth sports.

Opening Ceremony | JCI U-16 Girls T1 Rugby Tournament 2026

The JCI U-16 Girls T1 Rugby Tournament 2026 officially commenced today at Cupon Sports Center, Kapan, Kathmandu.

The opening ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Tankalal Ghising, Asia Rugby Vice President and former Member Secretary of the National Sports Council, Nepal.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Special Guest Dr. Dipak Devkota, President of Nepal Rugby Association, and Distinguished Guests Mr. Chetan Raj Giri, Senior Vice President, Nepal Rugby Association; Mr. Govinda Ghimire, General Secretary, Nepal Rugby Association; Mr. Dipak Adhikari, President, Nepal School Rugby Commission; and Mr. Dipak Thapa, JCI, whose support has contributed to making this tournament possible.

The event was further attended by board members and officials of the Nepal Rugby Association and Nepal School Rugby Commission, along with coaches, referees, players and supporters.

Organized by the Nepal School Rugby Commission, the tournament aims to promote grassroots rugby, encourage girls' participation in sports, and provide young athletes with a platform to develop their skills and confidence.
