Today, we held our sacred Puja Ceremony for the Mount Everest Expedition Thatβs a powerful momentβone of the most meaningful traditions before stepping onto the mountain πποΈ
A moment to seek blessings from the mountains, honor the spirits of the Himalaya, and pray for safety, strength, and success for every climber and Sherpa on this journey.
At Himalayan Mountaineering, this tradition is more than ritualβitβs respect, belief, and connection to the mountain we are about to face.
With prayers offered and hearts aligned, we are now one step closer to the summit.

The Gateway to the Roof of the World is Open! ποΈ
The Khumbu Icefall route is officially open β a defining moment for every climber standing at the base of Mount Everest.
After days of relentless effort, the courageous Icefall Doctors of the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee, the dedicated Expedition Operators Association Nepal, and the incredible Sherpas from expedition teams across Nepal have overcome every challenge the mountain presented β including a massive serac that once stood between ambition and ascent.
Today, the route through the Khumbu Icefall is secured. The path forward is open.
We at Himalayan Mountaineering Expedition extend our deepest gratitude to every individual who made this possible. Your strength, resilience, and commitment are what turn dreams into reality on these towering peaks.
With the Icefall now passable, our teams will move forward to establish Camp I and Camp II, while route fixing continues toward the summits of Mount Everest and Lhotse.
To climbers from around the world β your summit push is getting closer. Stay ready.
