Final game of the 25/26 season. Let’s finish off with win traveling to Chch once again. Heads up for supporters traveling.. parking is only available on the side streets as Hagley Park is closed so try the netball centre or surrounding streets.

Last night of raffles and somehow we took away two meat packs! Thanks to everyone that has helped out supporting the boys.

Yr9/10 tournament summary. the lads come through the 3 days with mixed results but plenty of experience gained. We started out with a forfeit win. then a convincing win against st Thomas’s to round out day one of the 20/20s. day two began in less than great conditions with wet long grass and a sticky pitch making it a lottery. Resulting in a loss to hillmorton on the last ball of the match. In the second match of the day we struggled with the bat and were 30 or 40 runs short of posting a target that would put pressure on our rivals Timaru boys. although we kept them honest with some late wickets it was not enough. With that being the end of the 20/20 action it’s fair to say our take away was in future that we have to lift our intensity with bat ball and whilst fielding as it’s over in a flash.
Our day 3 game seen us taking on st Thomas’s other team in a 40 over match which we won convincingly by 100 runs after a well constructed batting innings followed by some sharp bowling which never allowed them into the match.
Well done lads and a Big thanks to matt and shanelle for giving up their time to make this happen.
