An epic start to the V8 Supercars weekend and being able to step inside Matt Stone Racing garage was definitely a highlight 👌

We have another NZ 1 Champion in the house!

You showed real resilience and patience over a long weekend of racing Nate which all paid off in the end.

Thanks to all his supporters for coming out to cheer him on!

Nate Day 1 Nz Champs

Race 1 started 7th worked through the field to get 1st 🙌

Race 2 started 3rd got a smashing start to lead the race the whole 6 laps 🙌

Race 3 started 9th got tangled up behind a crash at the start so ended up at the back but tried my best to get through the field to end up 4th

Race 4 started 13th put the foot down worked through the field to get 1st 🙌

I'm currently sitting 1st overall hopefully luck is on my side today.

Darcy Day 1 NZ Champs

Lady luck hasn't been completely on my side.

Race 1 started in poll unfortunately the gear lever snapped so stuck in 3rd gear for the whole race but was able to finish the race and get some points.

Race 2 started in 6th position but a flat tire was not ideal still ended up finishing 5th.

Race 3 finally got a clean race, started 11th managed to get through the whole field to get 1st 🙌

Race 4 started 10th got up to 4th then my motor decided to stop 😨 managed to get going again to get some points finishing 10th.

Hopefully today goes a bit smoother with 2 rounds left.
