This was an incredibly tough decision due to the high calibre of athletes who put their names forward. The standard across the board was outstanding, and we’re extremely proud of everyone who applied.

Tee times and draw for Day 1 of the FCG NZ Championship on the 19th and 20th Jan at Windross Farm GC have been posted on the FCG website. Tee times for Day 2 will be posted after Day 1 has finished. Please also read all the info including the rules and regulations carefully before coming to the course.

Please note that you are not permitted to practice in the course anytime on the 19th or 20th Jan.

For ages 9-10 caddies are not allowed on the greens.

World Stars of Junior Golf New Zealand Championship 2026 is a qualifier for the World Stars Of Golf World Championship in July 2026 in Las Vegas https://www.worldstarsofgolf.com/

We are pleased to announce that the 2026 World Stars of Junior Golf NZ Open Champs will be held at Windross Golf Course Auckland on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd Jan 2026. This is a two day event.

This event is a 2 day overall gross tournament.

This is an open event to any player in NZ or other countries, however spots are very limited and first come first serve, so please enter early to avoid disappointment. There will be a waitlist when we reach our maximum number of players.

Spots will be given out to the top 2 players in each age/gender division who will receive an invitation to this prestigious event, the World Stars Of Golf World Championship 2026.
Results from this event will be taken into consideration when selecting the players for U-SWING JUNIOR World Championship 2026 in San Diego.

Everyone must walk, NO Motorised Golf Carts. Trundlers permitted.

Spectators are most welcomed but must stay clear of player and caddie, carts may be available for spectators with medical conditions all other spectators must walk.

IMPORTANT: BY ENTERING THIS EVENT ALL PARENTS AND CADDIES ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ANY ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR BY THEMSELVES TOWARDS PLAYERS, TOURNAMENT ORGANISERS OR OTHER PARENTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ON THE GOLF COURSE DURING THE ROUND OR AFTER THE ROUND IN THE CLUBHOUSE. ANY OFFENCE WILL RESULT IN THE REMOVAL OF THE ADULT FROM THE COURSE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENT AND ALL FUTURE WORLD STARS EVENTS IN NZ.

In the event of a tie for 1st place there will be a sudden death playoff on hole 18 until a winner is found. If a playoff is not possible due to bad weather or darkness, then the winner will be decided by a scorecard playoff.

Practice rounds can be booked directly with the golf course by phoning 09-2815414. Practice rounds are not included in the entry fee and will be paid direct to the course.

Refund Policy: Please note that a cancellation fee of $45 will be charged prior to 15 Dec 2025. After 15th Dec 2025, there will be no refund.
