Sad times, the good work by Roger and John @ John Edward Motors and Marsh Motorsports is on hold for a while. Short block and long block looks great.

Will be on hold till time and funds will allow. Till then can’t (but have to) wait.

Prepping / Painting / repainting Gbox mounts

Thanks to Aaron @ Evoke for doing a great job on colour matching the paint for the rocker cover going into the XF Falcon.

Really happy with the job he done so now he’s repainting the rear wing and RH wing mirror for the daily G6E in Havana.

Would recommend him highly.

Some progress happening during lockdown

Forged, decked, honed and assembled Atomic bottom end put together by Marsh Motorsports.

The guys at John Edwards doing the head and assembly soon, really know their Fords.

After that comes the custom parts. Transtunnel, driveshaft, splicing loom, fab for rad and intercooler etc.

Chasing reliable RWKW.

Rocker cover removed and off to the sandblaster. Such a shame as it’s in mint condition compared to the one on my G6ET. No paint bubbling at all.

New gasket kit ordered from Aus.

Need to get a new PCV valve also.

Engine stripped down, ready to get forged at Marsh Motorsports.

Modified (shortened) wastegate bracket installed. Thanks to Grant for helping sort.

Ah, Deliveries 😈

Tidied up some wiring including bonnet cable and finished moving the horn and windscreen washer pump. Looks real tidy.

Removed some engine tags but it’s not going to be a shaved engine bay.
