Te Rangaihi Reo Māori 12/09/2021

Ngā mihi manahau o te wiki o te reo Māori ki a koutou!
I am excited about Māori Language Week kicking off tomorrow!

At 12pm on Tuesday 14 September, we're encouraging all of New Zealand to stop and take a moment for te reo Māori.

This is an awesome initiative to support! Help set a world record!

Your moment can be as simple or as hard as you want it to be. You can do it on your own, or with your flatmates, workmates or whānau! Sing a song, get everyone together to learn their mihi using our video, or even use Māori sign offs in the office for the day. Whatever you do, it counts.

Sign up and join the fun!

Rauemi o te wiki 🥇🏆
Resource of the week

"Sounds of the Tuawhenua" is a fantastic short bilingual audio story set on a working farm. Brilliant for tamariki bed-times and drives long and short. Available in three versions - English, Bilingual and Māori. The bilingual edition is a fantastic way for you and your tamariki to learn words and phrases around the farm!

Eardrop is a fun and engaging character that our tamariki love listening to! Many thanks to the creator, Liz Donelly Eardrops 🙏
