Happy New year everyone!! Well today is the day I have decided to write some things down that have been on my mind for the last couple of months as we head into the new year …. I only do this when I am feeling in the mood, feeling relaxed and in the right environment to think and write down my aspirations for the next few months. I will often write them down and not look back at them for a couple of weeks. Weird I know… but the reason for this is that I have learnt over the years that once I write them down it helps my brain to chill out a bit more and it also allows me to mull over what I have written. I always write down my smallest aspirations and well as some big and scary ones …
2025 for me was a bit of a change into being a bit more settled in my life and business, so now this year I get to embrace this and make the most of feeling more secure and relaxed while allowing myself to do some more things this year that I have wanted to do for a while now. Nothing major, but little things that make me happy and help me to feel at ease.
Life is often a challenge for everyone (including myself) and I see this everyday in my career. Writing down aspirations helps me to understand my own thoughts and how I can also work through those life challenges 🙂 what do you do with your thoughts for future plans? Write them down? Talk about them out loud? Dream about them? Or just get on and act on them straight away?
Heres to 2026 …. Let’s see what it brings us and roll with the punches when those challenges (good and bad) hit us! 😊😊 … this is a pretty raw and honest post …. So sorry if it does not make sense lol

Achilles is an International organisation with 11 chapters across the country we provide guide support for athletes with disabilities to participate in activity.

When - Sat 16th August
Where - Southern Path Parkrun
What time: 7:30-7:45am for 8am start.

Meet back at the finish when we will then make our way to the Songbird Cafe in Waiata Shores
Location - Conifer Grove Reserve, Walter Strevens Drive, Takanini.

Meet the Achilles team at the start/finish area, it's just off the main path within the reserve.
This is a total 5k out & back sealed flat course along the Southern Pathway.

Walk or run the full 5k at your own pace or whatever you’re able Achilles will provide the guide support.

Please comment below or DM if your coming… this will provide some indication of attendance to make sure we have guide coverage on the day.

In the spirit of Parkrun & if you want to have your time recorded please register on the Parkrun website it’s free and you only need to do it once

12 Years as a Personal Trainer 💪❤️

This week marks 12 years since I officially stepped into the world of Personal Training — and what a journey it's been.

Over the years, I’ve learnt it’s never just about the reps — it’s about the whole person.

💥 I’ve seen first-hand how building strength and improving fitness can transform not just bodies — but entire lives.
🧠 I’ve seen just how powerful movement is — the way it boosts mental wellbeing and helps people feel more balanced, inside and out.
💬 I’ve learnt that every client brings their own story, struggles, and incredible potential — and it’s a privilege to help guide that process.
🤕 Guiding clients through rehab after injury has shown me how smart, gentle progress can restore confidence and get them back to doing what they love.
📈 And I’ve grown a business from scratch, constantly evolving, learning, and adapting along the way.

Helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more themselves — that’s what keeps me showing up every day.
And I’m just getting started.

Thank you to every single person who’s been part of this journey. Here's to more growth, more sweat, and more strength — inside and out 💚
