Why am I still teaching group fitness at the age of 6️⃣2️⃣ ?
That’s simple. It’s RADICAL FITNESS.
The programs are superior.
I’ve taught the ‘others’, so I understand.
I’ve also taught freestyle, and nah!
But Radical Fitness……….
What really captivates me is that I’m not bound by the choreography that my group fitness providers supplies each quarter.
Radical Fitness doesn’t just teach me technique, which is still a work in progress😉
What they do is train me so that I can:
✅ COPY the choreo for each music mix
✅ ADAPT the choreo, to make it easier or harder
✅ CREATE my own choreography
Now that’s empowering 💪🏼

SOUND FX for FIGHT DO
Why does Radical Fitness provide two music options for each release of FIGHT DO?
There’s actually two primary reasons:
1. The music with no Extra Sound FX enables you to be creative with your choreography, if you dont want to COPY.
2. Whereas the music with the Extra Sound FX encourages everyone to raise the intensity by accentuating certain strikes with POWER.
This video should help to help to demonstrate this.
This is why I ❤️Radical Fitness.
Because we like to be different. We like a challenge, and we dare to experiment if it helps us to be better.
That we are able to COPY, ADAPT OR CREATE our choreography is our point of difference, our USP, and our strength.
This is my ADAPTation for the latest mix PWR 74, and the first track (A) for Super Set 1.
Now I’m not advocating that every RF Club should also spend heaps of $ to get dumbbells for POWER.
I’m just lucky that our club does have ample sets of 2kg, 3kg and 5kg dumbbells.
And….. I also get that some may question the viability of doing flye’s so early in the routine.
But I’ve never been afraid of doing isolation exercises before compound.
That is if your warm up is sufficient and/or you start slowly, which is the case here in this choreography.
Look around any gym and most people train like this:
1. Every exercise is always FULL range
2. They only use ONE tempo. Normally 2 counts up and 2 counts down.
3. And every exercise is BILATERAL.
Even with dumbbells it’s rare to see them execute a set for each arm 🤔
So, my challenge to you is this …..
Get excited about your workouts and PLAN.
Plan to make at least ONE change to any of these 3 modalities, and invigorate your training 🏋🏼♀️🏋️🏋🏻♂️
Why is it cashed personal training if the workouts aren’t personal
Invigorate your training with isometrics
If you’re going to train with free weights then take advantage of them.
Use them in a way that you can’t with machines.
You play sport and use multiple muscles together in a single action.
So c’mon, rise to the challenge and unleash the potential to boost your training with ‘free weights’
Challenge your mind so you can challenge your body.
Think about those words ‘free weights’ and accept the challenge
Why be controlled by your group fitness provider, allowed only to COPY their choreography.
Be empowered.
Be RADICAL
