Client Feedback

“Francesca gave me a lesson on a friend's green 6yr old mare who hasn't had a lot of schooling, Francesca was great and took the time to watch how Blossom went before taking us through some very simple but effective moments, and allowed Blossom plenty of time to rest and process what she was learning. She was very understanding and supportive whenever Blossom was struggling, and when I was unsure she was great at changing her explaination to help me understand. Blossom improved so much with just that one lesson and we are looking forward to the next!” - Cassie Bidwell

“I was given the opportunity to ride after not being able to for a while and asked Francesca to help get me back to scratch. She was very helpful and I could already see improvements after just one ride. She was very attentive and picked up on smaller details that helped the bigger picture overall and used descriptive language an creative examples to help communicate her points effectively and efficiently. She used exercises to help both horse and rider improve individually and together as a combination.
Overall I would highly recommend her as both a coach and working rider.” - Taira Ribeiro

I coach out of enjoyment; I enjoy working with new people and watching them grow and improve I think is incredible to watch and of course be a part of. I also like to help people enjoy what they do and since I enjoy working with horses, we can relate to each other and improve together as a team.

Had an amazing last competition together before I go to the UK! 1st in both of our level 3 dressage tests! This absolute star of a horse gave it his all and I’ve been so lucky to be riding him this year ❤️
Thank you Kelly for letting me ride your beautiful boy!
Love the photo of him snorting after doing our medium trot 😆

Had an amazing beach ride today!
I’ve been taking Vinny to the beach every 1-2 weeks as it’s great to take him to different places so he can have a stretch and explore outside the arena! He also loves walking in the sea which is good for working his bum and lifting those hind legs 😍

Horse Vision and Its Effects on Horsemanship 04/03/2021

Horses Vision

I jumped Vinny for the first time since leasing him and had an absolute ball! So, as I've decided to get into jumping a bit more again I found vision in the horse quite an important factor in our horses performance. I found this article a good read and made me understand why horses may be scared of a random object or why the horse isn't quite jumping properly.

Let me know your thoughts on this or if you have more to add!

Horse Vision and Its Effects on Horsemanship Our horses see the world very differently from us in many ways. These differences in vision, due to the structure and placement of their eyes, have a profound influence on how they react to visual stimuli and should be thoughtfully considered in all aspects of horsemanship. These differences include...
