The last month held a few busy weekends with Chillie having her first official dressage tests scoring above 70% in both Level 1 tests and a 67% in her 2A test. Combine that with a practice round of 80cm hunter and she definitely deserved her break last week!

Chillie has really hit the ground running here in NZ and is loving the challenges and questions that come with the job of a young event horse! Definitely looking forward to the future with her! 🌶 🦄

Teaching during the golden hour tonight 💫
Major throwback to darting around the xc field with Glory back in 2012. This course was the old 1* ( now 2**). She’s now loving life helping the next generation of young kids develop their love for riding and all things equestrian whilst I’m over in NZ! 🎯🐎💨
Unfortunately the quality isn’t amazing, however one of the few videos I have with this amazing mare.

Luna was very good this weekend in the wet trying conditions coming home in 3rd place for her 3rd start at 95cm this weekend. ✨
Our focus for the last run of the season was to get her more comfortable and relaxed in the dressage arena and to develop a nice steady, balanced pace xc to help build her confidence traveling across the country throughout the course as it was quite slippery and wet.
