Join us at Ellerslie for a relaxed day of racing, great food, and chill vibes trackside.

We love providing free family entertainment at Ellerslie Racedays, however, it seems two of our hopper horses enjoyed Irish Raceday so much that they went home with someone. 🐴

While we appreciate they’re very cute, we provide toys like this for all children to enjoy across our racedays, and it’s disappointing that other families will now miss out.

We’d really appreciate their safe return back to Ellerslie - no questions asked. We have reviewed security footage, and we're not going to name and shame, but if they happened to accidentally trot into your car, you know the right thing to do.

The Guinness is pouring, the horses are flying, and the craic will be unmatched 🍀🐎🇮🇪

Join us tomorrow for ANZAC Raceday at Ellerslie. A day to come together trackside, to reflect and honour the service and sacrifice of our ANZACs.

On this ANZAC Day, we pause to reflect, remember, and honour the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country.

Ellerslie Racecourse holds a unique place in that history. During times of war, the grounds were repurposed for national service — most notably during World War II, when the racecourse was transformed into a military hospital supporting Allied forces, and earlier as a place of care during the 1918 influenza pandemic.

Today, as we look back on these archival images, we remember not only the rich history of Ellerslie, but the role it has played in supporting communities through times of both celebration and hardship.

Lest we forget.
