The body......literally.
A lot of my methods surrounding Vibration Therapy / Training ( especially the order and physics properties of my programs ) will be very very different to other people and companies in this field. There is a logical reason for that which will become clear after reading this. .
When following my advice or reading my work, quite often you are reading information gained from 40 years of mortuary work. As part of that mortuary work actual body composition is a very visceral experience. When most people talk about high tone muscle, low tone muscle, scar tissue, fascia, low circulation etc.... it is strictly from an academic perspective. It is a completely different experience to be able to match up actual body composition to known dysfunction.
As a result of my work, I have done hundreds of cases on adults and children with disabilities. And every dysfunction leaves behind abnormal tissue ( that I directly compare to the tens of thousands of cases I also do with fully functional tissue )
The range of physical and visual properties of this tissue can be quite dramatic.
Eg.... The visceral composition of a muscle that has had a constant light cramp flowing through it due to Cerebral Palsy, vs a Muscle with almost zero stimulation due to Muscular Dystrophy or Motor Neuron Disease , or scar tissue buildup in muscle or fascia tissue due to overuse is undeniable.
ALL of my work really only has a single aim. To use Vibration Therapy and Training in all its forms to restore tissue back to a fully functional level, while working on why the dysfunction happened in the first place. Often it is a chicken or the egg type argument, what came first, and what to treat first.
But to date taking into account both issues and re-training them simultaneously has seen the greatest and fastest ongoing effects. Unlike the initial good result usually seen in some research, and some systems, that plateau very quickly. Partial knowledge is guaranteed to stop you in the tracks, no matter how good your intentions are.
This knowledge and clear pathways towards breaking down blockages or other limitations, allows an upward spiral towards independence to become a reality.
The strange thing is, no matter if I am training an olympic athlete, or someone with a life-time disability, that knowledge ALWAYS comes into play.
The engineering.....
All the information above has also guided the engineering capabilities and design of my machines since day one. As the energy and ergonomic function of the machine has had to match what I wanted to deliver into the human body to a very precise degree.
It is also why the shape and function of my machines are like nothing else on the market. And the kind of high kinetic energy vibration I produce, but then bring down into an extremely controlled 1mm movement sometimes seems like an oxy-moron to others in the industry. Who want to promote higher amplitude and faster speeds to a degree you can see the person being thrown around.This is the complete opposite of my mentality and methods.
Note: I received my training in engineering in the Armed Forces ( Navy ).Vibration is the enemy of all things steel and electrical. But my personal fascination for physics allowed me to innovate and invent certain aspects of design that allow me to surpass the normal limitations of these machines. And give them the ergonomic factors I wanted.
Something else to ponder. Once you know the history of the industry. Who designed machines and their motives behind each design ( which I will be disclosing here on this page in articles ) It will become obvious there were some very smart people involved with good intentions, but many only had one vision, just one task they wanted to complete for research purposes. Hence the original machines they made have a limited design. Nothing wrong with that, but just from an engineering and ergonomic point of view, when trying to produce a complete whole body program that does all it can for someone, logic would suggest to be forced to use a machine designed years ago for one task only would be highly frustrating. If not impossible. And indeed it is.
The fact is the theory behind Vibration Therapy and Training is sound, but often let down by the engineering, then that is covered up by the marketers. And " what does my machine NOT do I wish it did " is not something you will hear often enough. If ever. So development is dead in 99% of companies. I have no idea what their R&D team do. It is why you see the same couple of old designs get copied over and over again.
I hope my work breaks the mold in a number of ways, and I also hope by doing so we can live up to the promise VT has but because of the various factors mentioned above, has yet to reach.
