Bridgestone GR86 Championship runner up Zach Blincoe is all set to make his Australian and Monochrome Australia GT4 debuts later this month.

Zach will step into the seat vacated by Chris White in the local Sydney-based GWR Australia team in its GR Supra GT4 EVO2 alongside Daniel Frougas for his prize-winning cameo at Sydney Motorsport Park over the weekend of September 18-20.

The youngster, who put together two great back-to-back seasons in the New Zealand Championship before finishing runner-up to White last season, is very much looking forward to both challenges.

“It’s certainly an amazing opportunity,” he said this week. “I have been talking to Chris and other drivers from NZ who have competed in the series like Hugo Allan for a few tips and advice ahead of the weekend.

Welcome Zach Blincoe to Monochrome GT4 Australia.

Blincoe will join Daniel Frougas in sharing the GWR Australia Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo 2 in Sydney after finishing runner up in the New Zealand GR86 Championship. Blincoe replaces Chris White, who narrowly defeated him for the title earlier this year.

Bridgestone GR86 Championship Runner-up🥈

That's a wrap on our second GR86 season. We started the weekend well with a strong qualifying which put us where we needed to be but unfortunately the racing was cut short due to weather warnings which saw us miss out on the last race of the season. Although the first two races went on, we weren't able to capitalise on our qualifying

Qualifying - 2nd and 4th
Race 1 - 4th - 🥉
Race 2 - 6th >5th
Race 3 - ❌

Plenty of positives to bring from this season as we win a fully covered drive at round 5 of the Monochrome GT4 Australia series at Sydney Motorsport Park later this year!
