That's a wrap on our second GR86 season. We started the weekend well with a strong qualifying which put us where we needed to be but unfortunately the racing was cut short due to weather warnings which saw us miss out on the last race of the season. Although the first two races went on, we weren't able to capitalise on our qualifying

Qualifying - 2nd and 4th
Race 1 - 4th - 🥉
Race 2 - 6th >5th
Race 3 - ❌

Plenty of positives to bring from this season as we win a fully covered drive at round 5 of the Monochrome GT4 Australia series at Sydney Motorsport Park later this year!

All season, they’ve traded blows at the front. Now, just 73 points split the top three as the championship reaches its final round. Taupō is where it’s settled!

Next month, the Bridgestone GR86 Championship concludes at the 2026 ITM Taupō Super 440 at Taupō International Motorsport Park.

A season of tight racing comes down to one final round.

Round 5 of the Bridgestone GR86 Championship at all done and dusted ✅

Another weekend ticked off and it started rough after losing my fastest two laps in qualifying after making a slight error in the last corner and going slightly too wide and exceeding track limits. This saw us starting 10th and 9th for race 1 and 3.

The races saw us capitalise on the opening laps and make a few key moves to keep our championship hopes alive.

Race 1: 10th - 6th
Race 2: 2nd 🥈
Race 3: 9th - 6th
