Gates Times:
Gates open at 8.00 am.
Race Car Pit Parking:
On arrival, please obey the signs and the parking marshal. Only vehicles towing race cars willbe allowed into the pit area.
Registration / Pre-Race Inspection:
Registration – Please register and collect the pre-race inspection sheet
Once you have registered and had your safety gear inspected, proceed to Pre-Race Inspection. Passengers must register and have their gear checked

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES WELCOME. PLEASE REFER TO ORANZ WEBSITE FOR INFORMATION ON RECREATIONAL VEHICLE RULES – For this event, we also request you have a minimum 4-point harness (no lap belts) and either a 2kg or two 1kg fire extinguishers

EVENT CANCELLED! The 2026 Peter Howell Memorial Offroad Race has been cancelled due to a lack of early entries. Due to the considerable cost involved in staging forest enduros, the committee of the Auckland Offroad Racing Club have decided not to take the chance of entries on the day to save the event and has made the call to cancel this year's event. This is not done lightly, but we feel we owe it to the competitors to make the call early and save them from the cost of prepping their race cars for the event.
In future, we ask that competitors enter early. If things don't work out for you, or us, we will always refund your fees. Early entries are our only way of knowing how many competitors we will have on race day.

You will be gridding up for race 2 in order of finishing race 1
Drivers Briefing:
This will be held at Race Control. There will be a roll call. Clerk of the course will do the briefing. ALL DRIVERS & PASSENGERS MUST ATTEND
Race Format: Qualifying Sprint
Race 1 – Starts in order of qualifying time.
Race 2 –Will start 1 hour after first race finishes Grid up in order of finishing race 1
No Kiwi trucks at this event.
Prize giving:
To be held on completion of the race, at the track.
Trophies 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall 1st in class only.
