WEEK 6

You’ve officially entered Week 6.

Which means there’s a little over 2 weeks left to make up your mind about Fight Camp.



Some of you are flying.
Some of you have gone a bit quiet.

Both are normal.



But don’t disappear into your own head.

Let us know where you’re at.

Sometimes all you need is a little push,
a bit of direction,
or simply to hear that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.



That’s what we’re here for.

We’ve done this many times before.

OVER THE HUMP

Week 5.

How’s everyone feeling?



At least once so far…

Have you pictured yourself stepping into the ring yet?



Because we have.

We’ve seen plenty of people go from unsure
to fully stepping up.



That’s what this process does.

It builds confidence slowly.
Session by session.
Round by round.



We believe you can do it.

But in the end —
the decision is yours.

HALFWAY THROUGH BASE CAMP

Time flies when you’re having fun.

You’ve seen what it takes.

The sessions.
The work.
The discipline.



Now ask yourself:

Do you want to take it further?



Fight Camp isn’t for everyone.

But if you’re thinking about it —
that probably means something.



It takes a bit of guts.

But that’s the point.



So what’s it going to be?

Comfort or challenge?

This is where people start to fall off.



The excitement fades.
The soreness lingers.
Life gets in the way.



Sessions get skipped.
Then skipped again.



That’s how it happens.

Not in one big moment —
but in small decisions.



So keep it simple:

• Plan your sessions ahead
• Don’t skip twice
• Show up, even if it’s not your best day



Lower the pressure —
just don’t disappear.



You don’t need perfect weeks.

You just need to stay in it.



Show up anyway.

Even when you don’t feel like it.

That’s the difference.

3 WEEKS IN

At this point…

You’ve got a lead hand.
A least favourite exercise.
And at least one muscle you didn’t know existed.

You know which sessions hit different.

ANZAC WEEKEND

Lest we forget.



We’ll be running as normal on Saturday — 8:15am Boxfit, 10:00am Sparring.
Monday — one class only: 9:30am Boxfit.



If you’re in Auckland, come train with us.

If you’re heading away — travel safe.



Take some time to pause,
but also keep moving.

A walk.
A light jog.
Something simple.



Stay active.
Stay on track.

2 WEEKS IN

Alright… be honest.

Have you settled in yet?



The first couple of weeks are always the hardest.

New routine.
Sore body.
Figuring things out.



Now it starts to click.

6 weeks of Base Camp to go.



A few simple rules:

• Plan your sessions
• Double up when you can
• Don’t skip twice



You don’t need to be perfect.

You just need to stay on track.



Stay on it.

CENTER CONTROL

Your center of gravity sits around your hips.

That’s what everything moves around.



Your base (feet) and your center need to stay connected.

When they don’t:

• power leaks
• balance breaks
• reactions slow



Every punch shifts your weight.

If that shift goes too far,
you lose control.

You overreach.
Your back foot lifts.
And when you get hit — you lose balance.



Wherever you go — take your legs with you.



Good boxing stays stacked:

Head over hips.
Hips over feet.



Your center of gravity matters more than you think.
