IV616 Venture Walkthrough | Custom Features & Smart Enhancements

27/05/2026

Most amphibious boats compromise fishability. Ours don’t.

At INNOVISION, we’ve engineered our amphibious range to retain the epic transom set-up, full cage functionality, generous cockpit space, and deluxe bait station layout we’re known for — so you don’t have to sacrifice serious fishability for amphibious capability.

Better fishing. Better exploring. Better by Design.

Great turnout for our Gold Coast Demo Day on Friday!

Conditions turned it on, giving the boats the perfect opportunity to showcase the ride quality, handling, and performance Innovision is known for.

A huge thank you to Phil (IV616 Venture Hybrid owner) and Chris (IV707 Explorer owner) for their support on the day — both did a fantastic job helping host and sharing their ownership experience.

We were incredibly happy with the feedback and appreciate everyone who came down to experience the Innovision difference.

If you missed it and want to know more about either if these boats or our range, please get in touch: [email protected]

Customer Feedback - Brad O's IV616 Explorer did not disappoint!

This feedback means a lot to the team — especially coming from someone who makes their living on the water.

"Dear Innovision Boats Team,
I wanted to take a moment to share my experience as a long-term owner of an IV616, which I’ve proudly run since 2023.

By way of background, I’m a commercial skipper of a 16m alloy cray boat operating in the lower South Island. When it came time to choose a vessel for family use and hunting expeditions, I approached the decision with a professional mindset. After a test ride, Innovision stood out clearly—nothing else felt as capable or as confidence-inspiring.

That decision has proven itself time and again, but most recently on a trip out of Milford Sound. Once we reached the Tasman Sea, we were met with around 3 metres of rolling sea and 25 knots of wind on top. I’ve experienced plenty of rough conditions over the years, but this was the first real test of the boat in properly challenging seas.

Loaded with four grown men and a full week’s worth of hunting gear, the IV616 handled it exceptionally. It ran straight and true, never doing anything unpredictable, and gave me complete confidence to continue safely to our destination. Notably, we were the only recreational vessel out that day—anything lesser would likely have turned back.

That level of performance speaks volumes about the design and build quality. From a professional skipper’s perspective, it’s a boat that earns trust quickly and keeps it.

I’m extremely pleased with my Innovision and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a serious, capable vessel."

Custom 757 | New double chine hull

Fresh out of paint at Superyacht Coatings — and looking every bit the part in Nardo Grey.

‘Valhalla’, a Custom 757 Explorer, is shaping up to be something special. With a Sydney-based owner who’s carefully considered how the boat will be used, every detail has been purpose-driven.

From side-opening doors to our new game chaser transom and double chine hull design, through to a fully walk-around bait station with integrated sink, custom seating layout, and forward-raked windows — this build is all about smart, functional design.

And that’s only part of the story!

More to come as she moves through marine fit-out.

In Build: IV616 Venture Hybrid

Fresh out of fabrication and now heading off to paint — this is the second build of our award-winning IV616 Venture Hybrid, and it’s looking the part already.

The first made its home in Brisbane (and will be available for sea trials at our 22 May demo day 👀), but this one is staying local — set for plenty of adventures out of Ōhope.

The Hybrid design is continuing to gain serious traction, striking that balance between capability, versatility, and on-water performance. We’ve got two more builds for Queensland customers mid this year.

And as always, no two builds are the same. This one is being tailored with a custom bow rail and ladder set-up. That’s the advantage of building with Innovision — you get a boat that fits your boating.

More to come as this one progresses.
