A day of excitement at Otahuhu Badminton Club where the Malayali community gathered for their annual tournament uniting the community.

Thank you to our members and committee for volunteering their time on a long weekend to maintain the courts, prolonging the life of the courts, and most importantly enabling the best games possible at our facility.

It takes much more than just committe members to run this club, it is absolutely proud for us to have such a tight knit community working together to ensure the club and facility stays awesome!

Due to overwhelming demand from our senior club, we are recommencing the Thursday (graded) sessions, starting 9th April!

Congratulations to one of our OBC Juniors, Alina Li, for winning the 2026 NZJBL championship organised by Badminton New Zealand!

The OBC Holiday Programme is coming up!
Starts on Monday 6 April, and is only limited to 16 participants!

- Senior Club Membership continues through the summer periods and terminates at the end of January 2027.

Senior Club nights are on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

OBC are also now opening signups for the 2026 Junior Squad Programme!

The 2025 Otahuhu Badminton Club Annual General Meeting is wrapped up!

Thank you to everyone for attending the 2025 AGM. It is a very important meeting where we reflect the year been, celebrate the wins, apply the learnings, and most importantly steer the club forward to higher trajectory for years to come.

We appreciate all the feedback and thoughts shared, afterall OBC is only able to strive through the support of the strong family spirit running in this club.

Congratulations to all the re-elected OBC Committee members, and warmest welcome to new committee members!
