It is officially the first day of the 2026/27 season!
GameDay updated the system last night, and as a result there are a few issues currently affecting membership forms.
The GameDay team is aware of these issues and is working to resolve them as soon as possible.
The Athletics NZ Membership inbox is experiencing a high volume of emails with club enquiries related to this matter.

What a great end to the athletics season on Tuesday night!

Summer athletes aged 7 year & over, you can be involved with GEAHC through the winter too - and paying your fees in April will cover you for the 2026/27 athletics season as well!
The Harrier season will start on Saturday 11 April at the Ceramco Park clubrooms. Further information to come, closer to the time.

There were lots of fun events to celebrate the finish of a great athletics season!

Special thanks to all those who made junior athletics possible, providing all aspects of the programme, plus setting up and putting gear away. We have already had one parent volunteer to assist next season and would love there to be more - please email [email protected] and we will be in touch!

Club championship certificates were presented this evening (one junior is missing from the photo). Thanks to Neil for organising the Champs, plus the senior club members, parents and grandparents who assisted on Saturday.

What a cool way to end our season with a fun night! We loved the smiling faces of our children while they did our annual events like sack races, obstacle course, hamster wheels and of course the egg events.
A big thank you to our volunteers who come and spend a Tuesday night fostering a love of athletics. To our families and children see you next season!

This is the final evening of Junior athletics for the season, with fun events for all (and a treat at the end!)
Thank you to those who have helped over the season - we really do need this assistance so we can provide the great experience for our athletes that we want to offer.
Before next summer, we will be looking for volunteers to be involved with planning for next season!
