Update - all well on board, those that were suffering from sea sickness have fully recovered. Nick Wells birthday celebrations had to wait until with some urgent sail repairs were completed! That done the birthday cake come out!

28th online and looking good. Now into the Bass Strait.
30 boats now retired and sad to see our very own V5 is one of them.🥺
It looks like the breeze is dropping significantly and swinging, E/NE.
Flinders Is Observation has E, 4knots, with Eddystone Pt, ESE 5knots. Further down at St Helens it's SSW 1knot - am sure the breeze will build as the day progresses! 🤞

She has moved up the placings to 33rd, the breeze is picking up again.
The last observation before the Bass Stait is Gabo Island and it's reporting a SW 22knts, gusting 27, with a 3 mtr sea state.
