To all our Mums, Nan’s, Aunties and the strong wāhine who hold it down behind the scenes… today we celebrate you. A special acknowledgement as well to our solo parents carrying both roles — the ones being Mum and Dad at the same time. Your strength, sacrifice and resilience does not go unnoticed. We honour you today too🤍

From the sidelines to the kitchen tables, from early morning trainings to late night pick ups, your love, sacrifice and prayers never go unseen. This video is just a small reminder of how much you mean to our Scorps whānau.

A special moment from the day was the premiere of our new club song 💥 written and performed by our very own Ōtara Scorpions junior players alongside Brotha D. A proud moment for our club and our young people.

Big thank you to Manukau Ward Councillors Alf Filipaina and , along with Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board members .localboard, and for your continued support of our people and kaupapa.

SB274 – Lock in your Tuesday.

Last week was a full house 🔥 and we absolutely love this for our young people and their families. The energy, the turnout — this is what it’s about.

This week we’ve got Caleb Vaa coming through to share on youth leadership and his mentoring program — something our players can tap into straight away.

Coaches, make sure your team leaders are in the building. This is bigger than footy. It’s about growing our young ones into strong leaders, making solid choices, and carrying themselves right on and off the field.

As with everything we do — we start strong and we finish stronger.
