If you've ever considered buying En Primeur, this is the year to start! 2025 is one of those very rare situations where a truly exceptional vintage aligns perfectly with price. We kick off this years campaign with 12 stunning wines from $40 to $1000.

This is the third year of price reductions in a row. Due to the global economic situation and vintage quality prices dropped an average of 25% from 2022 to 2023. This slump continued last year with the 2024s dropping a further 25%!

Now we see the truly exceptional 2025 wines where critics are unanimous, this is one of the great Bordeaux vintages of all time. One that will be talked about for decades to come. With this superb quality and a very small yielding vintage, usually these would be priced in only one direction. But they are being released into a world market that simply won't absorb an increase right now.

Therefore we are seeing Chateaux offer 2025s at the same price or even lower than the 2024s! These two vintages are not even close to the same level. Even with the continued drop of the New Zealand peso against the Euro, that places many of the best wines of Bordeaux at a lower cost than our top Kiwi Bordeaux style icons...

The style of 2025 is also unique in a way that we have never seen before. This is a vintage of remarkable finesse and intensity, producing wines that feel both powerful and refreshingly classical. They combine expressive aromatics with deep concentration and vibrant energy. The alcohol levels again suprisingly low at just 12.5% - 13.5%, with crisp lively acidity that allows the wines to retain beautiful balance and poise. This is the best of traditional and modern Bordeaux combined.

2025 is clearly destined as an all time vintage. With genuine aging potential, singular clarity of expression, and incredibly low pricing, these are must have wines in your cellar!

After many shipping delays, we have just landed the new releases from this boutique, family owned grower Champagne house. They have been producing authentic hand made Champagnes in this area for over 400 years!

We import direct from the house itself, and without huge marketing budgets these wines are amazing value compared to the big name brands. At a time where Champagne prices have gone ballistic, these are gorgeous wines you can drink all year round. All made exclusively from grapes grown in their own vineyards, there's no purchased fruit here.

The long-awaited release of the final wines from the legendary 2021 vintage in Barbaresco! One of the greatest ever made ever in this quiet corner of northern Italy.

We are very proud to present these stunning 2021s from Cantina del Pino and the Produttori del Barbaresco. Two family owned wineries that have a very closely woven history going back to 1894, and the very first Barbaresco wines made in the village.

Cantina del Pino is a personal favourite here, making one of the most delicate and refined examples of Barbaresco in the region. These are elegance personified.

The Produttori del Barbaresco is undoubtedly the most famous, and greatest co-operative winery in the world. Their iconic single vineyard Barbaresco Riserva are one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

The level of quality is unparalleled for the price amongst any fine wine region, and 2021 is on another level. Here is your opportunity to secure your allocation of these legendary wines before they leave Italy.

Our allocations have unfortunately been cut by 40% this year due to the smaller vintage and massive demand. Many of these wines will sell out very quickly and we will need to allocate.

This offer has some wonderful examples of Bouchard’s affordable reds we haven’t received before from the fantastic 2022 vintage. These are Burgundies for drinking and not collecting. The way it used to be!

We have some truly stunning examples from the 2023 vintage. Across both the Northern and Southern Rhône, these wines are more immediately approachable than recent years. The wines are fresher with lower alcohols and gentler tannins. The best of these still have a wonderful capacity to age though, drinking wonderfully from now over the next two decades.

This year there are unfortunately only very small quantities of many wines available (Just 12-18 bottles). Place your order as soon as possible, as we may need to allocate some of the rarest wines.

Tardieu-Laurent & Janasse are expected April 2026. The other wines mid-winter.
