2025/26 Season Prizegiving

On Sunday we attended the club prize-giving at rainbows end, terrible weather but a great time connecting with friends and former competitors. Awesome to come away with a few trophy’s after a short lived season that didn’t go our way one bit!

➡️ Hard Charger
➡️ Sportsmanship Cup
➡️ 6th Place Future Stars Series Points
➡️ Leavers Plaque
➡️ Season Participation Trophy

I’d like to say a huge thank you to my family, not just for this season but for the past 5. My Pop for buying me a Quarter Midget after years spent together at Western Springs, and for all the hours spent not just at tracks around the North Island but at home putting back together the car I’d junked the night before. And to Nana for letting him, and her unwavering support.

My Parents and sister, Dad especially for all the hot setups and all the hours spent around the country, at home underneath the gazebo putting in motors and again, fixing what i’d junked.

It’s an experience not many people get the opportunity to take up this young and I am every bit grateful for what we made of it together.

I have no plans to continue racing at the moment and I wish all my competitors and friends best of luck on their continued racing endeavours. It was fun to share the track with such competitive people and It only pushed me to work myself harder.

I’d also like to say a Hugeeeeee thank you to the sponsors who came on board this year and helped keep us going even when results didn’t show:

- Peter and the team from The Pilot Company
- Kevin and the team from Mastercraft Kitchens NZ

And

ELiTE Service | Custom Plaster Mouldings - CPM | Crane Panelbeaters | Josh Browne Racing for all their help | Vintage Collective NZ

Great way to finish off my Career today at Rosebank Speedway, Led Heat 1 from Green to Checkered and Placed well in the rest of the heats. Rolled off third for the feature, but it wasn’t meant to be and we finished roughly 7th place out of 12 cars. It’s a shame but coming into today not expecting much I’m stoked. Can’t thank my family, my friends, and all my sponsors enough for all their hard work. Enjoy the 🍩’s — Full write up to come.

Raceday (for the final time)

The teams getting ready to take on Rosebank Speedway for one final time of my racing career. It’s where i first started racing back in 2021, so it only feels fitting.

Thanks to everyone who’s helped us over the years, Especially a Big thank you to my sponsors for all their support this season, we definitely hoped for more but never stopped trying till the very end.

🟠The Pilot Company - Pete and His team
🟠Mastercraft Kitchens NZ - Kev and the whole company
🟠CPM Custom Plaster Mouldings - Tubbs and all his support
🟠ELiTE Service
🟠Crane Panelbeaters - Mark from Crane never stopped supporting me since day 1
🟠Josh Browne Racing - Josh Browne and his family for all the favours - stepping out of their way to help other people like myself is something i’m beyond grateful for.
🟠Vintage Collective NZ - My Nana and Poppa, Without their contribution this dream wouldn’t have never even happened.. From sitting at Western Springs on a yellow Covid traffic light telling them I wanted a sprint car, to buying me a Quarter Midget to go turn laps in it somehow turned into what it is for me today.

Extremely grateful for everyone on this list and a lot of people in previous years too!

One last time, Let’s go 👊

1/3/26 - Rosebank Speedway Buddy Day!

Results:
Heat 1: G3-P8
Heat 2: G5-P6
Heat 3: G7-P6

Feature: G7-P5

Our Gremlins definitely chose a fight. We struggled for pace early and couldn’t quite keep up, but hang in there. After a few car tweaks, We started to find something, and after going over everything this afternoon, we’ve finally got some confidence that the car is heading in somewhat the right direction. We’ll keep building on this going into next weekend.

I was lucky enough to get paired up with Trent Way Motorsport as my buddy - big thanks for all the advice and for hanging out with me for the day!

Huge thanks to our sponsors:

🟠The Pilot Company
🟠Mastercraft Kitchens NZ
🟠Custom Plaster Mouldings - CPM
🟠ELiTE Service
🟠Crane Panelbeaters
🟠Josh Browne Racing
🟠Vintage Collective NZ

and KiwiKidz Quarter Midgets for the awesome weekend!
