Wrapping up a week of racing here in Gdynia at the 2025 Youth Match Racing World Championship. After a solid start to the round robin, we were unable to piece it together finishing up 10th place.

As always, the international competition was top tier and the team comes away with so many learnings & lots of great memories, ready to take into our coming regattas back on home soil 🥝🇳🇿

Productive week in Sydney putting in the hours in the RS21 in preparation for the Youth Worlds this week ⛵️

From light winds to excessive chop, we experienced it all. The big emphasis we placed on boat handling has left us feeling prepared and excited to jump into the boats in Poland! 🇵🇱

Great result for the team over the weekend, placing 2nd at the Captain John Piper Regatta hosted by the CYCA 🥈. The light & shifty conditions proved great preparation for the upcoming Youth Match Racing Wold Championships in Poland which kick off next week.

The team now starts an intense 1 week training block in Sydney before flying off to Poland on Friday ✈️.

🏆🥇Winners of the Hardy cup Last week the team managed to defend our title of the Hardy cup in Sydney, making us the back to back winners of the event. A great feat that couldn’t have been done without a great team and a lot of training. Those boys being @olly.b.l @noah_malpot @zach.fong5 @masonmulcahy_ @hydey4558 .With it being a week of trying conditions we managed to win our finals 3:1.

This win for the team sets a record for the regatta of most wins of the event, let alone in a row. It was a great way to end the 24/25 summer season after doing 7 events across 3 countries. Once again great work from the team .fong5 .coughlan

Sailors hit the water for the first day of the Warren Jones International Youth Regatta and got a taste of what’s to come over the next few days.
