Reginald Leach was a valued member of the rugby community who dedicated many years of service to the game he cared deeply about. Also served on the New Zealand Deaf Rugby Union (NZDRU) contributing to the growth and administration of community rugby across the region.
Where he continued to give generously of his time, including serving on the New Zealand Deaf Rugby Union (NZDRU). His commitment, leadership, and passion for rugby left a lasting impact on Northern Marlins Deaf Rugby Union (NMDRU) and the wider New Zealand rugby whānau.
Reginald Leach contribution to the union will be remembered and appreciated by all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Reginald Leach was a first President from the 1991-1995 and 1997-2003. Also a Life member of the New Zealand Deaf Rugby Union (NZDRU) in 2016.
