Competition number 4 for us done and dusted. Greg Hart & Jeremy Thorp flew down to Christchurch to compete at "Smoke in the Park" unfortunately leaving Sam Cook home due to personal family matters. Operating out of a suitcase proved to be extremely challenging and frustrating but we managed to get the job done. Catching up with Que Whanau is always awesome, the banter and laughs makes the tough times all worthwhile. Although things didn't go our way this weekend we learnt a truck load and we look to implement new ideas and techniques in future competitions.

A huge shout out to the promoting team for putting on a epic event. A special thanks to Alan Wenmoth for loaning the 2 bbqs for us to cook on it was much appreciated, also Jonathan James for letting us cook our 2 proteins on one of his Treagers on Sunday. Cheers to NZBA and Chris Tolcher for doing your thing and for the judges for getting the job done.
