✨ MUSCLE ACTIVATION ✨

If you’re stuck feeling hip thrusts in your quads or squats in your glutes - this is for you 🙌🏻

TLDR: our muscles work together, so unless you’re feeling a muscle in a place that’s completely unrelated to the exercise, or you’re experimenting pain, then you likely don’t need to worry and may just need a form check 🤷🏻‍♀️

Slow down, focus on your technique and maybe ask for help if you feel stuck (my DMs are always open 💪🏼)

Long explanation - cardio works wonders for strength training as it’s been shown to increase muscular efficiency, support greater power output, prevent injuries, strengthen your core and posterior chain, while improving your mental fortitude 🏃🏻‍♀️

The key? Programme the RIGHT cardio for your goals, at the RIGHT time 🙌🏻

You thoughts dictate your emotions 💭 your emotions influences your actions 💪🏻 your actions determine your future ✨

Your plan is only partly responsible for your progress. What matters most is your mindset - shifting it from a place that runs away from what you don’t want, a place that motivates from negativity, to a place that pushes you towards what you want and drives you from a place of positivity.

It’s not about sticking a positivity bandaid over everything. It’s about shifting your focus to what will benefit you 🫶🏻

That is the hardest exercise to programme, but the most rewarding reps you’ll do 👏🏻
