Yoga is much more than movement or posture.โ
In the ancient Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - the foundation of yogic wisdom - yoga begins with how we live, think, speak, and relate to the world. โ
โ
As Gurudev says:โ
โLike a flower bud, human life has the potential to blossom fully. Blossoming of human potential to fullness is yoga.โโ
โ
The first step of this blossoming is the Yamas - five principles for a peaceful and conscious life โจโ
โ
โข Ahimsa - Non-violenceโ
Not only in action, but also in thoughts and emotions. Gurudev explains that when we are deeply peaceful within, even aggression around us begins to dissolve.โ
โ
โข Satya - Truthfulnessโ
Truth is more than words. It is clarity in intention, authenticity, and being sincere with yourself and others.โ
โ
โข Asteya - Non-stealingโ
Comparison, jealousy, and constantly wanting what others have disturbs the mind. Asteya is the freedom to feel complete within yourself.โ
โ
โข Aparigraha - Non-possessiveness or non-attachmentโ
The more tightly we hold on, the more fear we create. Letting go brings lightness, trust, and inner freedom.โ
โ
โข Brahmacharya - Wise use of energyโ
Protecting your energy, not getting lost in constant stimulation, and remembering that you are much more than the body and senses.โ
โ
Yoga starts long before the mat.โ
It starts in the way you live ๐ฟ

Meditation isn't just a pause, it's brain training.
Repeated meditation strengthens the neural circuits for:
focus, memory and emotional regulation.
So when life gets chaotic, your brain already knows how to return to clarity.
Sit. Breathe. Rewire.
