We have opportunities for players of all abilities from Year 0 through to Year 8. With teams in every Christchurch Junior Cricket Association grade, including girls-only grades, we have a spot for everyone.

2026 New Zealand Junior Indoor World Series Teams Announcement

Following the 2026 New Zealand Junior Indoor Provincial Championships, Indoor Cricket New Zealand announced 6 teams selected to represent New Zealand at this year's Junior Indoor World Series in Pretoria, South Africa.

We would like to announce selection in the New Zealand Under 14 Boys team for last season’s OBC Yr7 Premier player - Isaiah Inglis. Congratulation to Isaiah on earning the opportunity to wear the Silver Fern on the international stage. We wish him every success as the teams proudly represent New Zealand at the 2026 Junior Indoor World Series.

2026/27 Christchurch Junior Cricket Festival dates & venues are here!

We are looking to have our y7 & 8 Girls teams playing earlier with games against Districts in late November leading into the January Girls Festival.

Self-nomination links will be released soon, so keep an eye on our page for details and get ready to put your name forward!

Our Boys Pre-season Programme will open for registrations for Boys Years 6,7 & 8 in mid-June and our Girls Pre-season will take place once again in the October School Holidays.

Boy our End of Season Junior prizegiving for our CJCA teams was a busy one with 5hrs of individuals and team awards. Congratulations to all the players and winners who are attached below with lots of photos from the day.

Thanks to Harcourts Holmwood Real Estate's Hayden Broadbelt, Canterbury Magician Abigale Gerken and the Canterbury Kings Mascot for helping to give out all the certificates and medals to winners.
