Every year our staff photo competition gives us a glimpse into some of the incredible places our people work.
This photo was taken by one of our Communications, Navigation and Surveillance Technicians during a trip to our Coronet Peak VHF site. VHF (Very High Frequency) radio sites help air traffic controllers communicate with aircraft and are often located on mountain tops and in remote locations.
Between the snow, the helicopter ride and the views, it's a good reminder that some Airways workplaces are a little different from most.

This ANZAC Day, we acknowledge our long association with the New Zealand Defence Force and pause to reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who have served, and those who continue to serve, our country.
We also remember the members of our own Airways whānau who have worn the uniform. Today we honour their commitment, and that of all who have served, with gratitude and respect.
Lest we forget.
