It's National Volunteer Week!

Great facilities, great coaches, and GREAT VOLUNTEERS are the keys to great tennis clubs.

This week we celebrate the 100's of volunteers who put in their time free of charge week after week, year after year to keep your club alive and thriving.

A sincere THANK YOU to every club committee member, president, secretary, treasurer, junior administrator, club captain, team captain, handy person and supporter for all you do that goes unseen.

Please post in the comments a shout out to a volunteer who makes your club better and they'll go in the draw to win a new Wilson tennis bag.

💥WTC Annual Quiz at The Elmwood
👉3pm, Sunday 16th August, 2026

Our annual Quiz will be earlier in the day - we're making it a family affair! Kicking off with an early start, we'll have an early finish. A great opportunity to spend Sunday- Funday with family and friends (and also enjoy a pub meal and a night off dinner!)

Entry fees are $15 per adult/$12 per child u16. The Quiz itself will be augmented by a range of raffle and silent auction offerings, so rally the troops and bring your A-Game!

🍍 Wimbledon Social – Saturday 4 July ~
Starch the whites and dust off the wooden racquets for our Wimbledon social afternoon. Bubbles and afternoon tea will be provided. Fancy Dress and other awards are up for grabs and Juniors welcome from 330pm onwards for a hit of tennis - dress up requested!

Our annual Quiz will be held earlier in the day this year to make it more a family-focused affair - an event for everyone to take part in (and a great option for an early pub dinner!).
