Core strength varies from person to person ๐Ÿค—

That's why it is great to have progressions for more advanced core training peps as well as easier versions for beginners or those building up their core strength ๐Ÿ’ช

This core exercise targets mainly the lower abdominal muscles, the advanced version requires a strong upper body hold ( think shoulder mount for you polers)

Focus on pressing your lower back down on the floor and think about tucking your tail bone under as you lift your knees to your chest

Competition photos I didn't get round to sharing from 2024 competitions in September and October.
Better late then never right ! โ˜บ๏ธ

I won 3rd place in my classes in both shows for open figure tall.

The first show was the South Islands Regional Show in Christchurch, followed by the Nationals in Auckland.

Each prep has presented unique challenges and rewards, as well as valuable learning experiences.

Does competing get easier with time?
Yes and no
While the process becomes more familiar & streamlined the discipline required to achieve competition leaness remains intense.

I am very excited to be prepping a few clients for this year's shows ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜Š

Honestly so blown away with .1234 dedication and achievement to get into competition shape ๐Ÿ˜

This was her first bodybuilding show and she won 2nd in first timers and 3rd in novice in the sports model category Christchurch show ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘

Her work ethic and unparalleled mindset to do the work required to achieve these results made it easy to coach her!

So proud!! ๐Ÿคฉ

She nailed the posing and held her own in a tough class of 8 competitors!
