JAVIDAN ACADEMY IN-HOUSE TOURNAMENT & PRIZEGIVING🏆⚽️

Two weeks ago, we held our Javidan Academy In-House Tournament for our U13, U10 and First Kicks players, followed by our Academy Prizegiving, celebrating players from across all age groups.

A big congratulations to all the teams and players who took part. There was some great football, plenty of competition and some brilliant talent on display! 👏

Well done to all our individual award winners who were recognised at the prizegiving. Your hard work and commitment throughout the season has not gone unnoticed.

🏆⚽ What an incredible Matariki Weekend at the National NZ Afghan Futsal Tournament!

Over two fantastic days, our First Kicks, Juniors and Youth players showcased everything that makes our game special - skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and a genuine love for futsal.

A huge thank you to every player, parent, coach, volunteer and family who travelled from around New Zealand to be part of this special weekend. Matariki is a time to reflect, reconnect and celebrate new beginnings and this tournament truly captured that spirit by bringing our community together through futsal.

🏅 First Kicks Champions
Congratulations to Abulfazl's Blue Team on winning the Javidan First Kicks Final against Zohair's Team. A massive well done to both teams - you are all winners and the future of our game is very bright.

🏅Junior (U13) Champions
Congratulations to Javidan Black, led by Sadra Rezaie & Rohullah Noori, who defeated Christchurch United U11 Yellow in a thrilling penalty shootout. What a fantastic final played by two outstanding teams.

🏅Youth (U17) Champions
The U17 competition featured five quality teams, with every match played in great spirit. Congratulations to Christchurch United boys, who defeated Javidan on penalties after an exciting draw in the final. A fitting end to a brilliant youth competition.

More important than the results was seeing so many young people enjoying the game, making new friendships and representing their families and communities with pride. This is exactly why we continue to invest in youth.

A heartfelt thank you to NZ Afghan Sports Events, Belal Haidari & Mustafa Ahmadi and the entire organising team for creating another outstanding tournament.

Alhamdulillah. 🤲⚽

Firstly, all praise belongs to Allah (SWT) for blessing me with the opportunity to serve as Director and Head Coach of Javidan Academy. I pray that He continues to guide me in serving our community with sincerity and humility.

This journey was never built by one person.

My greatest influence, after my parents, has been Agha Reza Hussaini - our coach, Sunday Farsi teacher, mentor and older brother. He inspired so many of us to love football, value our culture and become better people.

I also want to acknowledge Kaka Khafi, Haji Alishah Rajabi and everyone who has helped our community football since 2001. Your dedication laid the foundations we proudly continue today.

Today, Alhamdulillah, Javidan Academy has grown to significantly across our First Kicks, Juniors, Youth, Development and Men's First Team. Our mission is bigger than football, we are developing confident, humble, disciplined and respectful young people.

🏆 16 of the best men's teams from New Zealand and Australia will battle it out to be crowned champions.

🌟 The future of our game will also be on show with competitions for First Kicks (4–7 years), U10, U13, and U17. We can't wait to see the next generation showcasing their talent.

Whether you're playing or supporting, come along for an exciting weekend of top-quality futsal, community, and great memories.
