Couldn't resist blocking the view of the knives again with different watch and the same freckle clad arm 😊 Todays knives: Victorinox. Watch: a french made Yema from 1977. In hind sight a Swiss watch would have been more appropriate for the Swiss knives 🤷... Ah well, next time 😅🔪⌚

Today's knives with today's watch 🔪+⌚ Thought I'd do some meta nerdism and sneak in my other hobby of restoring vintage watches 😅. This one is my latest, a 1957 Hafis. I think the colours match my "complexion" rather well ☺️

Ages since I posted anything... Kinda like how it takes ages to get the tiniest chips out of a deba 🥵 Always worth it though 🤩

My memory is not great but I think this is one of, if not THE first knife I sharpened for a customer and it has made its way back again for a little tickle up 🔪🏥 See you again in a year or so 😅

Another patient suffering from grinder abuse 😢 This poor thing was found in a farmers field and in need of rehabilitation🤕🚑🏥. But I think we can call the operation a success !🔪👨⚕️ Always great to see a neglected tool back in service!

A fresh set of NZ made Victory butchery knives in for a fresh NZ man made (me😁) edge to begin their service 🔪🍖
Boning knife has a very aggressive 300 grit edge and the skinning knife is sporting a 800/6000 combo edge with the polished bevel facing the "meat" side. The big fella is 6000 tip to toe.
