The 2026 Cockies Classic is nearly here. A great afternoon out and a wonderful opportunity to support the local golf club. Come along and have a social afternoon. Some epic prizes up for grabs and some awesome auctions as well.

Thanks to everyone that came tailing yesterday in some extremely trying conditions.
Unfortunately we weren’t able to get the last 3 mobs done due to the wind. We are going to have another crack after lunch on Friday, meeting at the back sheep yards at 1:30pm. If you can make it, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Due to the green’s coring being postponed due to the weather, the 36 hole alternate shot Mathieson shield has been postponed until after the greens have been cored. Normal proceedings will resume (Ringers and Putters) on Saturday.

Also due to the Otago rugby team sitting on the precipice of history. The tee off time for golf on Saturday (25/10) will be moved forward to 11am to facilitate the 4pm kick off.
Let’s use this opportunity to show how gracious we are as sports fans, with humility and dignity to be shown regardless of the result.
